hello

as you can see, i just look at your profile now XD i am tempted to switch over. i actually do feel really torn about this, much more than i should. RariShy was the first pairing i just connected with. i avoided FlutterDash because i felt like all the F.D. fans were trying to force it on me, lol. but now as i learn more and more about it, i am starting to love this pair. almost as much as i love RariShy! If not even more!! it's tough too because FlutterDash is even canon (the kiss in the Canterlot Wedding changeling battle) yes lol. i think too much, i know!!

ps. is it totally weird that i imagine humanized FlutterDash as Blythe and Sue from LPS? Bc Sue kinda has Fluttershy's personality, and Blythe is voiced by Ashleigh Ball (RD's actress)

Phewf rant over lol. anywho, lemme know what ya think! XD

I actually have no idea who those are, or what LPS is! Haha

As for the FlutterDash, I'm not going to force you into it, but you can lurk around my stuff and see if you get sucked in

For now, here are my reasons for preferring FlutterDash over RariShy
1) The bond of friendship is already much stronger than between the other girls because of the following: they have known each other since fillyhood, Rainbowdash (who is very sensitive about her reputation) defended Fluttershy in flight school, putting herself on the line for her, and naturally, that would result in Fluttershy feeling very special because of Rainbow's actions for her.
2) They say opposites attract, and in this relationship, it's actually one personality benefiting the other and vice versa.
For example: RD is reckless and cocky and a rough and tumble type.
FS is a soft, nurturing and very considerate type.
While RD can teach all the things about being strong and assertive to FS
she lacks a lot of the soft qualities that FS has. FS can teach RD how to slow down, and really feel things, and feel others as well.

In short, they balance one another very well.

Also, hey! Who care's if it's canon? besides that, if even the animators tease the relationship, then they must think they're meant to be too!

I'm also a fan of RariJack, ever since I've seen *WhiteDiamondsLtd artwork of the ship [link], I've been sucked in to that too haha!

Haha, well, LPS stands for Littlest Pet Shop. The newer generation is written by the same writes of FiM. I feel like Sue has this big puppy dog crush on Blythe cause she's always following her around and willing to help her with things.

I agree, RD has known FS since fillyhood, and was the only one jumping in and willing to protect her. That was adorable.

What I don't like is how people say "opposites attract" because I have known that to not be true in real life. I have rather known the *opposite* (haha how's that for a paradox?) of opposites attract to be true. Ponies... or, uh, people, of the same interests generally get along much better than people who like different things. Opposites are more likely to get into fights and not get along. however, I agree that in RD and FS's case, it might even help them to balance it out.

Thank you for not forcing me into it, but, I think I'm already hooked onto FlutterDash! XD I still love RariShy though. Not a fan of RariJack. At least RD and FS had a history of friendship, AJ and Rarity just met each other when Twilight came to town. Plus, they always act like they hate each other rather than flirting.

And while it isn't FlutterDash, I do highly suggest checking out the story "Green" by Steel Resolve on FimFiction. It's brilliant and well written, regardless of which ship it supports

And I know that to be true myself in real life scenarios, even people I'm attracted to are usually the same as me lol
